The May challenge for the dAKnitters group was to make something game-related. I had played Scrabble with my family the night before and I thought the board would make a perfect afghan design. It took me almost two months to make this. The squares are one iteration of the Butterfly Garden afghan square
[link] , which is usually two iterations of butterflies. My squares are about 6"x6", but the original Butterfly Afghan square is 12"x12". It's hard to see in the picture because the afghan was so big it fell over the edge of the bed, but there really are red squares at each corner and in the center of each side. Since my hubby is the master Scrabble player in the family, this was his Father's Day gift.
